Their magic abilities long forgotten, in 1604 the people of Lutea were caught unaware when items of various sizes started to regain the tell-tale soft blue glow of magic. These magical objects were not confined to just one specific type – reports were soon flooding into the king’s knights that this re-awakening of magic was being seen on swords, horse saddlery, cloaks, teacups, pendants, feather pens, pet collars, front doors and even one whole temple’s structure. The king of the time made the decision that all of these magic items (which he officially named Amulets) were to be collected and redistributed among the people in a more controlled manner. These Amulets later became the cause of conflict, with the king's knights standing against the Talismans and their supporters - men and women who believed that Amulets should be hoarded by those that took them, and would do anything to get one. When the leader of the Talismans was finally beheaded, his followers seemed to vanish overnight...
In modern day Lutea, it's believed the Talismans may be back after some murders in which Amulets were stolen. Led by a young queen, the trials ahead will impact all. Nobody will escape the coming tale.
